STEP 1.
Choose the Consultation That Fits Your Project
At TGM Contracting & Remodeling, we go beyond quick estimates and rushed walkthroughs.
A successful renovation begins long before construction starts. The foundation is clarity, clarity in layout, design direction, scope, structural needs, and realistic budgeting.
Some homeowners already know their layout and simply need accurate pricing. Some want full design support before committing. Others are still exploring ideas and need guidance.
Choosing the right consultation ensures you get real value. Not a generic “ballpark” number that leads to surprises later.
Our consultations are different.
Our consultations are an investment in getting your project right from the start.
Most contractors spend 10–15 minutes in your home, take a quick look, and give you a number without:
- Taking measurements
- Evaluating mechanical systems
- Reviewing layout feasibility
- Discussing finish levels
- Addressing structural considerations
Then once work starts, the change orders begin:
- “That’s not included.”
- “We didn’t price for that.”
- “This will be extra.”
Suddenly the “cheap” quote becomes the most expensive mistake.
Our process ensures you get real value
You’re not getting a quick number. You’re getting accuracy, transparency, and peace of mind.
We take the time to understand your needs. We walk the space thoroughly and ask the right questions. We build a detailed scope and preliminary budget based on what we can clearly see and reasonably anticipate.
No contractor can see through walls. They cannot guarantee that hidden conditions won’t. However, our process minimizes surprises. We do the due diligence up front.
The only surprises that arise are true unknowns — conditions no contractor could identify until demolition begins.
