What we offer

We run it. You relax.

You shouldn’t have to chase five trades to get one project done.

01

Full project management

Scope, schedule, materials and daily decisions, handled by us.

02

Permit coordination

We pull permits where they’re needed and schedule the inspections.

03

Subcontractor oversight

When a specialty trade is needed, we bring them in and manage them.

04

Structural work & framing

Walls, beams, framing and repairs, built to code.

05

Code compliance

Work that passes inspection the first time and holds up after.

06

One point of contact

One number to call. One person who knows your job.

Sound familiar?

When you need someone to run the job

A general contractor earns their keep when a project has too many moving parts for one trade.

01

Five trades, no one in charge

Plumber, electrician, drywall, flooring. Somebody has to sequence them. That’s us.

02

Insurance work after damage

Water, storm or fire damage with an adjuster involved. We work through the scope with you and your insurer.

03

A permit you don’t understand

We pull permits where they’re needed and line up the inspections.

04

A project that stalled

Another contractor left it half done. We look at what’s there and give you a straight path to finish.

05

A layout change in one room

Too big for a handyman, smaller than a full remodel. Planned and managed as one job.

06

Repairs that need to happen together

Windows, doors, a deck and trim, managed as one project instead of four.

Before you call

What to do first

1

Write the goal, not the trades

Tell us what you want the result to be. We work out who does what.

2

Gather what you have

Photos, drawings, insurance paperwork, prior estimates. All of it helps.

3

Set a budget range

A rough number lets us tell you what’s realistic before you fall in love with a plan.

4

Get one walkthrough

One visit, one plan, one price, and one point of contact for the whole job.

Owner-operated and veteran owned. You get straight answers.

Home improvement projects

Some jobs are too big for a handyman visit but smaller than a full remodel. A new layout in one room. Replacement windows and doors. A deck. A set of repairs that need to be managed together.

That’s where a general contractor earns their keep. We plan it, schedule it and see it through.

Questions

General contractor questions

Can you finish a job another contractor started?

Often, yes. We look at what was done, check it, and give you a price to finish it right. Sometimes part of it has to be redone, and we’ll show you why.

Do you work with insurance claims?

Yes. We walk the damage, write up the scope and work with you and your adjuster.

How much does a general contractor cost?

It depends on scope, materials and design. You get the price in writing, at your kitchen table, before any work is scheduled. Call (315) 754-9996.

Why choose TGM Contracting & Remodeling as your general contractor?

Design is done in house, one company manages every trade, and our lifetime craftsmanship warranty covers our work.

What happens after I call?

We come out, look at the job and talk it through. Then you get a rendered design and a written scope and price.
